The new update is so bad! I want to order a book but Im not sure which one yet. So I figured I would browse the app a little but its so bad I cant look! Its super slow which makes me mad and I cant find where I can select the categories! I really dont like it at all

Painfully slow, and small user flaws, buttons dont seem to register right away. B&N has plenty of issues to deal with

I hate this new app!! It doesnt give you the ability to pick up in store and it doesnt show you if the book is actually at the store you want to go to. I live 30 minutes away from the nearest store and I used the pick up in store to see if the book was actually in stock. Going to just start buying all my books on Amazon!! Sorely disappointed!

Please update this app so it will work on iPad. This version does not fill the screen of an iPad.

Ive been using this B&N app for a long time and now Ive had to delete it from my phone. I wont update to ios8 yet which prevents the app from opening. And it wont let me download an older version so I can use it. Useless now!

After dozens of failed attempts, I was finally allowed past the home page. Then, when attempting to search for specific items, errors occurred each time. If only the app were functional, I would undoubtedly purchase more from B&N. Amazon it is, I suppose.

I used to be able to reserve books in-store from my iPhone. Searching used to be easier. I also find it glitchy. For example, my X to erase my previous search doesnt work. I love B&N. Please fix! Second review: Still sucky. Im trying to figure out how it benefits B&N to have an app that stinks. Why cant I buy Nook books from my phone?

Tried to purchase book for my daughter on this app and it kept kick me off after I filled credit card information, paid 25$ to be a member and need to purchase online because if buy book in barn and noble store if only 10% off instead of 40% for the books my daughter wants.... Wont be their member again and I believe I can find cheaper book in Amazon!!

This latest update is worthless. It is horrible and painfully slow. Do you people test before you roll out new versions of your app????? Poor customer service.

Why on earth did they take a simple, intuitive and pleasant app and replace it with a monstrosity of complexity and non functioning features? The good news it makes me feel less guilty to use Amazon as obviously B&N is not looking to compete in the app/ online space.

This new update is terrible. Its so slow and hard to navigate. The old version was so much better. I ordered books constantly using that version. I was so disappointed when I saw the new update. Please go back to the old version, I hate the new one.

Signs me out every time I leave the app and half the time it doesnt show orders. Its just...so very frustrating.

Seriously, how can B&N create an app like this? In the competitive mobile shopping environment, how can making an app that is essentially a portal to the clunky browser experience even acceptable? Six years since the first BN app debuted, and this is what we have? Just make a link that sends the customer over to the Amazon site. Thats basically what youve done here.

The previous version was okay, but the latest version is absolute garbage: extremely slow, doesnt recall my zip (even after Ive entered it), nearly unresponsive at times. Would rate it below zero if possible.

If I wanted a web app, Id use your mobile website. This looks even worse than before the update, plus its now unacceptably slow. Give me the native iOS look and feel or pull the app from the App Store. Until then, 1 star. Also, I cant log into the app nor your mobile website because the page thinks my password doesnt meet the password requirements. This happens whether I type in my password or copy/paste it in. I am mysteriously able to log in to the desktop website, though.
